I’ve learned that man can indeed have too many afghan projects going on at a time, so I needed to come up with some smaller getterdone-type projects to validate that I can indeed finish something. Enter the beanie. While my YouTube Channel is down, I thought it’d be neato to find other folks tutorials to share.

For my first beanie that I made for my BFF, I followed Melanie Ham’s Absolute Beginner Crochet Hat and used some yarn I got from Bluprint. This is me modeling it before I sent it.

And this is her wearing it. I didn’t tell her I was gonna put her photo in my blog so Surprise Friend you’re on my blog.

Then I decided to try something different and I combined three different colors of Lori Holt’s Chunky Thread to make a beanie for myself and for Helena. I did a half-double crochet in the back loop for this one. Legit this stitch is fetch.
And here we are werking our complimentary beanies like the bosses we are.

Happy Thanksgiving Folks. I know I have so much to be grateful for and all of you are a big part of that. Keep it positive.

While I don’t promote anything unless I legit love it, this post contains affiliate links.
Love the picture of you and Helena.
The beanie would be perfect for the cold wet Washington season.
Just “up the road” from you in Buckley,WA.
