Colección: Always Been Here – A Pride Fabric Collection by Mx Domestic

This isn’t rainbow capitalism. This is truth. Always Been Here is my first full fabric collection in years—and the first one I created entirely for us. Not to be palatable. Not to make anyone comfortable. But to honor what Pride really means: resilience, resistance, and refusing to be erased.

Back in 2020, I designed Love is Love, a rainbow-soaked collection that felt right at the time. But looking back, I wasn’t designing for the LGBTQ+ community—I was designing to be accepted by everyone else under the guardrails of the manufacturer I originally designed it with. I wore the sequins, the unicorn horns, the sparkles… and got rewarded for being safe and shiny. But I’ve grown since then. We all have. And this time, I’m not making myself smaller for anyone.

Always Been Here is rooted in our truth. It’s queer joy and queer rage. It’s softness and strength. It’s the reminder that we’ve always existed—and we’re not going anywhere.

From hand-drawn affirmations to cosmic textures, this collection speaks to the reality of being queer and trans right now. It’s bold. It’s layered. It’s unapologetically us. And for the first time, I’m proud—not because I made something for others to like, but because I finally made something for me, and for us.
