Cozy Campside Quilt Kit featuring Palette Flannel by Marcia Derse

Big blocks, glorious color, and flannel. Cozy Campside feels like exactly what a flannel quilt should be: graphic and modern enough to be interesting, but warm and ridiculously inviting once you realize the entire thing is made with Marcia Derse’s Palette Flannel for Windham Fabrics.

Designed by Katie Hampton, Cozy Campside uses oversized geometric blocks built from half-square triangles and large solid triangles, creating these fantastic little stair-step moments across the quilt. The layout moves through rich reds, oranges, greens, blues, purples, earthy neutrals and black, letting the beautifully mottled color and texture of Palette do most of the work.

And despite how striking the finished quilt looks, this is a beginner-friendly project. Each block finishes at approximately 15", so you get all that graphic impact without a million tiny pieces. The finished quilt measures 45" x 60"—a pretty perfect couch, reading, camping, or wrap-yourself-up-in-it size.
