The Penny Quilt Kit – Reimagined with Tim Holtz Foundations, Abandoned, and More

Originally, this quilt was designed using early Foundations pulls—but like a lot of older mockups, a good chunk of those fabrics just aren’t realistically available anymore. So instead of forcing it or subbing randomly, I rebuilt it from the ground up using what I can get… and honestly? It’s better.

This version pulls from Foundations, Abandoned, Worn Croc, and coordinating Tim Holtz textures to create something that feels more intentional, more balanced, and way more dynamic. The contrast hits harder. The color moments land cleaner. And the whole thing reads like a finished piece—not just a collection sample.
