I finished this pillow front in August of 2016. What is it about almost finished projects that causes us to put them on a shelf and forget about them? Like legit this Triple Goosed pattern by Jeli Quilts was super duper fun and I absolutely love this finished pillow, so whatever the reason I’m super stoked I finally put pedal to the metal to getterdone.
The pattern is a Foundation Paper Piecing pattern, which is always a fun technique to play with and this 12″ x 12″ block is super manageable. Since I’m absolutely obsessed with denim, I decided to use two contrasting solid smooth denims from Art Gallery Fabrics: Indigo Shadow & Infused Hydrangea.
As an homage to Jeli Quilts, I decided to quilt this on a tight grid on point, which is oh so dreamy and quickly after I quilted this that aesthetic became one of my go-tos. For the back, I grabbed Sew Caroline‘s canvas from Happy Home, which just warms my belly every time I use it. And snaps of course. Always snaps.
And here are some of the supplies I used to make this pillow.
