As I was pondering a new English Paper Piecing project one day, I gazed lovingly over at my Dear Jane EPP Kit and had a total lightbulb moment. I decided then and there that I was going to make this quilt a story of my journey as a fabric designer, where each block would focus on one of my fabrics representing 225 different fabrics altogether. Seeing that I’ve only recently launched Loved to Pieces, my debut fabric collection, I would be beginning a project that (1) would take a decade to complete and (2) I didn’t even know what 90% of the fabric would look like. So with the Snow White Pure Element as my background, I began this journey with these 16 blocks. Click on each and scroll through these 16 to see them up close and personal.
And here they are all snapped together to show them off against the future white background sashing.
This project is definitely a commitment, but I know the commitment will be well worth it. Now it’s time to get designing some fabric.

Brilliant ?
Gorgeous blocks!
Absolutely love this idea! Your Dear Jane is going to be awesome. Guess this just means I’ll need to continue to follow you for the next decade for the big reveal 🙂
Your designs are absolutely perfect for EPP! I hope this unfinished project doesn’t sit on the shelf for too long while you design more fabric ~ no pressure 😀
Love dear jane I am making my second one
