While October shines a spotlight on breast cancer awareness, their commitment extends throughout the year. Join us in learning, inspiring, and giving generously. My A Place for Everything 2.0 began with me foundation paper piecing an M in hues of blue and an X in hues of pink. I used some prints from Alison Glass’ Soliloquy & Giucy Giuce’s Scrawl fabrics and their Mini Alphabet pattern, all of which I have available in my shop. There are a total of 40 fabrics, but I had to narrow it down to keep is chic and sophisticated, which was my overall goal with the make.
This bag was actually a bag that I was supposed to make for #SewPink 2022, but the timing of my mental health decline left me unable to sew for a period that included the date of my participation. So this year was like a redo to show myself what a badass sewist I actually am and that I can still do next-level projects. And woweeow and I smitten with this bag! Sexy, ya?
The #SewPink Initiative was created by ByAnnie.com LLC to raise awareness for breast cancer throughout the year. Efforts culminate in an annual blog hop during October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month to promote self-care, awareness, early detection and support for those affected by breast cancer.
