Beautiful fabric
I was so happy to find this design. It was the perfect choice to back a quilt I made to donate as a raffle item at our local pride festival. Very vibrant colors and quality fabric.

Fast project, once i figured it out!
Fabric in the instructions aren't the same colors/prints as from the kit. For a first-timer, this added complexity, but it's worth persisting. I only have the 8 arms of the star assembled so far. I was concerned about the center of the star being overworked or saggy - as you see on some sites. So, I ironed at every step and starched the fabric fairly well and was super precise in cutting and sewing. This may have avoided that problem. The pride colors are perfect and the overall palette avoids being childish by using a little sparkle or "paint spatter" on each fabric choice. The star spans my queen bed from point to point so the final is going pretty big. A good value for a kit as I don't think I could have purchased all these fabrics with so little waste. There are 16 extra rows that I'll be using to create either an extra border or the binding - not there yet. I recommend this kit for anyone wanting to learn how to create lone star themed blocks or create a beautiful gift that's a symbol of your allyship. It's very satisfying watching this massive star take shape!

The fabrice is awesome. I don‘t really like black - with this greyish black and the gorgeous pattern … I love it!
It will be the seams and backing of a Bee-quilt which I‘m intending to give to Canadian friends (they have hives)

My new favorite quilt!
This kit is so generously cut that I was able to make a full 80x106 inch quilt top and binding! It's so soft, and the prints are gorgeous. I couldn't pick a favorite fabric, but the whole quilt is now my new favorite.
