Starting on October 2nd, Tara of Wefty Needle and I will be hosting a 12 week Ornament Along, where we will provide a free tutorial for a new ornament every Monday. For those who participate on Instagram each week, you will be eligible to win the weekly prize if you use the hashtag #ornamentalong. While we will both make all twelve ornaments, we will alternate each week between Tara and myself, with Tara starting on October 2nd.
For my six ornaments, here is the supply list:
- Aleene’s Fabric Fusion fabric glue
- Straight pins
- Small clips
- Wefty needle
- Foam board
- Pellon Decor Weight stabilizer
- Tulip Glitter fabric spray paint
- Foam eggs
- Applique pins
- Thin ribbon (1/8” – 1/2”)
- Hot glue (optional)
- Embroidery hoops (3” or 4” best)
- Glue stick
- Grommets (optional)
- 1/2” beads
- Craft wire
To get the supplies for Tara’s six ornaments, head over to her blog. We will also have the individual supply list for each ornament as we go, so if you prefer to either wing it or supply shop as we go, then that works too.
You’ll also need fabric and thread, so make sure you have that and aren’t all like but they weren’t on the supply list. I’ll be using Amy Sinibaldi‘s Little Town collection with Art Gallery Fabrics.
So we hope y’all are ready for weeks of ornament fun! I’ve honestly never started planning my ornaments so far in advance, but I’ve also never had a tree of mostly homemade ornaments either. Oh em gee I just know that’s gonna be amazeballs.
While I don’t promote anything unless I legit love it, this post contains an affiliate link.
