Inspired by botanicals and traditional Indienne textiles, Sitara is filled with flowing florals, leafy vines, intricate paisleys, and richly layered prints in teal, rose, marigold, berry, soft ivory, and deep moody tones. Against the dark background, all of that color absolutely glows, while Amelia’s oversized traditional star blocks give every print enough room to have its moment.
The Amelia pattern was designed by Crystal Manning as a fat-quarter-friendly, beginner-friendly star quilt, making it an especially good match for a collection with this much variety in scale, color, and print. The result is scrappy without feeling chaotic, colorful without losing the graphic impact of the stars, and just really freaking good.
