For this kit, we’re using Fireglow by Sarah Watts, a collection that leans into moody depth with glowing highlights. Think inky blacks, rich teal, deep plum, coral sparks, and luminous creams. Fireglow has that celestial, story-driven energy Sarah does so well — mysterious but still vibrant.

The design uses 14 fat quarters from the collection, framed by bold block fabric and grounded with a detailed background. The contrast is what makes this quilt sing. The light diamonds feel illuminated against the dark framing, and the Fireglow prints create movement inside each vertical band.

This is straight piecing - no curves - but precision matters. It’s a confident beginner to intermediate project that rewards careful cutting and consistent seam allowances. The finished size makes it a generous throw or dramatic twin-size quilt.
