Night Moves Quilt Kit featuring The Flannel One by Marcia Derse

Night Moves is designed by Stephanie Sheridan of Stitched Together Studios and features The Flannel One by Marcia Derse, paired with coordinating Palette Flannels in shades of black, stone, cream, taupe, and gray. The result is this wonderfully dimensional quilt that feels almost architectural—little framed windows of patterned flannel surrounded by shifting angles and pops of light against a deep black background.

The quilt is built from four variations of the same 10" block, so while the finished design looks intricate, the construction stays wonderfully repetitive and approachable. Simple stitch-and-flip corners create the angled shapes surrounding each Squid Ink center, and the blocks are arranged into five rows before adding a pieced inner sashing and wide outer border. The pattern is rated Beginner by Windham Fabrics.

And because the entire quilt is flannel, all of that crisp geometry gets softened just enough to make this one feel immediately warm and snuggly. Basically: modern quilt, cozy blanket energy.
