Shibori - Wavelength in Blue Agate - by Whistler Studios with Windham Fabrics

The Shibori collection by Whistler Studios takes direct inspiration from traditional Japanese shibori dying and turns it into a cool and cohesive fabric collection. Shibori is a traditional form of resist dying or tie - dying technique in which small sections of fabric are bound tightly so they do not take on the dye during the process. Organic and geometric shapes are seen throughout these fabrics which layer to create extra depth. Typically made with indigo dye, this fabric collection also features those deep blue hues one would expect from shibori. Although these fabrics are made through printing instead of dying, the colors and textures are true to the inspiration.

This listing is for a 1/2 yard cut of quilter's cotton fabric, which measures 44" (selvedge to selvedge) x 18". If purchasing multiple half yard cuts, the fabric will be a continuous cut when possible. For instance, ordering a quantity of 2 half yard cuts will come as one full yard cut of fabric.
