Jennifer Sampou shares that "SKY Ombré is my love letter to makers who rejoice through color and embrace hue-liberation!" And these ombres are precisely that with enough variation within the design for maximum impact with one color. But, of course, collecting them all is the goal.
This listing is for a 1/2 yard cut of quilter's cotton fabric, which measures 44" (selvedge to selvedge) x 18". If purchasing multiple half yard cuts, the fabric will be a continuous cut. For instance, ordering a quantity of 2 half yard cuts will come as one full yard cut of fabric.

Used Sky Ombre for a Bargello wave quilt. Was interested in seeing how this fabric’s gradients would look across the quilt. After I created the stripe tubes, I cut each strip as I needed it to sew onto the top, and alternated cuts between the tubes, and that made the gradients go across the quilt pretty well. Couldn’t eke out the last 5” strip using this method though, so the quilt it 5 inches more narrow than the pattern would normally make; its about 68” wide and 96 inches long—great for twin XL beds.
