The path of this project began with a tree skirt. Random right? I made this bombtastic Hexagonal Tree Skirt this year and had enough excess from the trimmings to create a 14″ x 16″ rectangle. So naturally, I stitched everything up and quilted it without having any idea what I was going to make with it.
After what seemed like years but was more like a couple days of me staring at it on my WIP Wall, I realized that it would be the perfect size for the exterior of a new Sew Together Bag.
And as soon as this was decided, I contacted Michelle of SewDemented to see if I could do a YouTube tutorial and she said YES so yaaaaay!
So here are the finished pictures of my bag. I’m obsessed and plan to make another one super soon.
For those who are curious, these are the fabrics that I used for the interior of the bag.

ALWAYS WANTED TO SEE THIS BAG PUT TOGETHER, THANK YOU!
Thank you thank you thank you! I’ve had the pattern sitting here waiting as I experienced zipper anxiety, lol. I’m now cutting fabric and will follow along with your tutorial. Yay!
Very nice! I really will try that! Need a bag for make up stuff for holiday in Athen in May. Thank you for showing it!
OMG where was this tutorial when I made this bag 2 years ago! Figuring out that pattern was a pain in you know where!!
Where can I purchase the pattern for the territorial bag. I live in South Africa
