Boxed Block Lap Afghan

I’m in the process of wrapping up my existing crochet afghans-in-progress before I allow myself to start a new one. Fingers crossed, wish me luck, it probably won’t happen but goals are good or whatever.

I have multiple color ways of this Sprightly Acrylic Wool Worsted Stripes Yarn and I have to admit that I’m absolutely in love with each and every one of them. Plus with the size of each skein, I feel like I get a lot of bang for my buck with this yarn.

For this afghan, I used 2 skeins of the variegated and then a partial skein of a solid for the border. I’ll eventually do a tutorial for this Boxed Block Stitch, but for now just search “Boxed Block Crochet” in YouTube and you should find something.

The only difference between the border and the main body-ody-ody of the Afghan is that I used one less stitch per cluster for the sides to make it work.
