Fundraiser for Anti-Racism 2021

Fundraiser for Anti-Racism 2021

Mx Domestic stands firmly with the Black & Indigenous Communities. Saying that Black Lives Matter or Indigenous Lives Matter as much as every other life should not be hard for anyone to say. And the time is NOW to end the systemic oppression by design of Black and Indigenous communities.

Last June, we held the first Fundraiser for Anti-Racism and were overwhelmed and beyond grateful for the response. We had over 700 items listed and were able to raise over $150,000 for anti-racist and social justice organizations. With your help, we can use the power of the maker community to make a difference once again.

After The Fundraiser

Donators: To close out your auction items, you’ll need to handle the proof of donation and shipping. Once the auction ends, carefully look through the comments on your item and find the highest bidder. Then, reach out to them and request proof of their donation (generally just a screenshot of the confirmation will work great). Also ask them for their address for shipping.

If you aren’t paying for shipping for your item then invoice them using paypal or whatever method works for you. If the winner doesn’t respond within 24 hours, you can move on to the next highest bidder.

Buyers: Please make sure to note when the auction ends, and check to see if you’re the winning bidder! Once you’ve won, make the donation to the organization you’ve chosen and send the donator a screenshot of the confirmation, along with your address.

If the item does not include shipping (i.e., shipping must be paid for separately), you should receive an invoice from the donator as well.

Do I get the choice of which organization receives my donation if I am the highest bidder? Please provide a verifiable link to display the % of proceeds to each organization.
    Thank you
