We are so excited today to show off the list of classes and teachers for our autumn 2020 session of the Mod Bee.

This session will run from Thursday, October 22 through Saturday October 24 and will be filled with classes, conversations, quilting, giveaways, and fun…and the best part is that it, as always, it is all online so you can participate from the comfort of your own home!

Winter Woods Quilt with Lindsay from Lindsay Sews

Turn your scrap fabrics into a fun lap quilt that will get you ready for cozy winter cuddles! In this class, we will talk about combing through your monochromatic fabric scraps to make the cutest patchwork tree blocks. Then we’ll sew up trees in two sizes, and learn how to arrange the blocks for a great flow. Finally, we’ll join the rows into a quilt top with interesting low-volume scraps punching up the background. This technique can easily be adapted to sew mini quilts, pillow covers, baby gifts and bed covers!

Dara will be sharing her process of how to free motion quilt starting with small projects and working up your skills and endurance. After sharing a peek into her new book and her process for gaining more confidence, she will demonstrate the daisy design that is used in the apron pattern. Demonstrating 8 variations of the fmq daisy! Her free motion quilting designs are for the domestic or the long arm.
