Rainbow Face Mask with Video Tutorial

As the cases of the Coronavirus begin to dramatically rise again in the United States, it became clear that we were going to be wearing masks for a long time since way too many folks aren’t. And if you’re anything like me, nothing gives me a pick me up like a pretty rainbow thing, so I decided to make a couple for myself in a style I hadn’t done yet. And since I was making it for myself, I figured some of y’all might wanna make some too, so I made a tutorial over on YouTube.

For the free pattern with template, download by clicking the link below.

I made the mask using scraps from my DIY Woven Philadelphia Pride Flag that I made in collaboration with Fabric.com, Prime Video & Art Gallery Fabrics for the Virtual Pride Inside event going on this weekend June 27 & 28, 2020. More than likely, they’ll run out of kits this weekend, so if you’d like to make one, head here to get the kit.

If you’re rainbow-averse or don’t have the tools to sew a mask, I also created a tutorial of the three patterns provided by the CDC and two of them are no-sew.
